6ix Mears is seeking dependable and hardworking Cooks to join our kitchen team. Our cooks are responsible for preparing high-quality meals while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details
Position: Cook
Pay: Hourly (based on experience)
Hours: Vary Monday–Friday between 11:00 AM – 2:00 AM
Start Date: April 2026
Reports To: Manager of the facility
Location: 6ix Mears, 235 6th St E, St. Paul, MN 55101
Responsibilities
Prepare menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with food prep, stocking, and kitchen setup
Monitor food quality and portion control
Work efficiently during busy service hours
Assist with closing and cleaning duties at the end of shifts
Requirements
Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong attention to detail and food safety practices
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and late nights
Ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed
