6ix Mears is seeking professional and dependable Security Staff to help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment for guests and staff. Our security team plays an important role in supporting operations during busy nightlife hours, special events, and large gatherings.

Position: Security Staff
Pay: Hourly (based on experience)
Primary Schedule: Friday and Saturday evenings
Additional Shifts: Major events and high-attendance nights
Start Date: April 2026
Reports To: Manager of the facility
Location: 6ix Mears, 235 6th St E, St. Paul, MN 55101
Responsibilities
Maintain a safe and orderly environment for guests and staff
Monitor entrances and exits and check IDs as needed
Assist with crowd control during busy service hours and special events
Respond calmly and professionally to conflicts or disturbances
Enforce venue policies and support management in maintaining house rules
Communicate with management and staff regarding any safety concerns
Help ensure guests enter and exit the venue safely at closing time
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of security or related experience
Strong ability to remain calm and professional in high-energy environments
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
Must be reliable, punctual, and attentive
Ability to stand for extended periods and work late-night shifts
Previous experience in nightlife, bar, or event security preferred
